How to Triple Your Internet Speed And Cut Your Phone Bill in Half With One Phone Call!

Hi Everybody,

I had an interesting experience this morning and I thought I would share it with you. If you find this post useful please pass it on to as many people as possible

I got a postcard from the cable company yesterday letting me know that I could get phone service from them. I called them up and here's the deal they offered me ...

Cable, Phone And Internet $99 / month

NOT A BAD DEAL ... Considering I was currently paying $140/ month for just phone and Internet alone ...

I called my Phone Company, told them I was thinking of switching over to cable and asked them if they had any promotions going

They Said they could give me the following

Dish Network, Unlimited Phone (all same feature that I have now) and 1.5 Gb DSL (3 times my current speed) for $115! I them asked what if I didn't want the Dish. They said they would take Off $40 ...

So now I had Unlimited Phone and 1.5mb DSL ( triple my currrent speed) for $75 instead of $140!My phone bill was roughly cut in half and I tripled my Internet speed and all I had to do was make a 5 minute phone call!

You never know what you can get ... until you ask for it!

Moral of The Story: Competition Sucks when you're the business but rocks when you're the customer! If there was no competition there was NO WAY the phone company would lower their rates

My Advice: Call your Cable Company and Phone company and get their best deal. Then play them against each other

Jack

P.S. This works with Credit card companies as well. Call them up and ask them to lower your interest rate .. more often than not they will!

Hi Jack,

Fantastic. I used to be in the telecommunications business and loved competing with the local companies.

Great story
